About Castlemaine Art Museum

Castlemaine Art Museum (CAM) is one of regional Victoria’s most significant public art museums. Founded in 1913 and located on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, CAM has been supported by its community for more than a century.

CAM presents exhibitions, public programs and learning opportunities that connect art, history and contemporary ideas. We are committed to being welcoming, inclusive and accessible — a place where people feel comfortable engaging with art in all its forms.

Volunteering at CAM is a chance to be part of a creative, community-driven organisation and to gain practical experience within a professional gallery environment.

  • Anyone who enjoys working with people and being part of cultural life

Volunteers are supported by CAM staff and provided with training and mentoring.
