Castlemaine Art Museum is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation operating a regional art museum in Castlemaine, Victoria. Where these Terms refer to we, us or our, they refer to Castlemaine Art Museum.

4. User-submitted content

Donations made through the website are processed by a third-party payment provider. By making a donation you confirm that the payment details you provide are your own and that you have authority to use them. Donations of $2 or more to CAM are tax-deductible in Australia under our deductible gift recipient (DGR) status. A tax receipt will be issued at the email address you provide.
Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation has been made in error, please contact us as soon as possible at

6. Memberships
Memberships, including Friends of CAM (FOCAM), are subject to the membership terms presented at the time of sign-up. Memberships are non-transferable and, unless otherwise stated, non-refundable. Member benefits may be varied from time to time with reasonable notice.
7. Ticketing and event bookings
Tickets and event bookings made through the website are subject to the terms of the relevant ticketing platform and any specific terms of the event (including age restrictions, capacity limits and conditions of entry). Refunds and exchanges are handled in accordance with the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Code of Practice for Event Ticketing and our Conditions of Entry, available at the museum and on request.
We may need to reschedule or cancel an event. Where we do, we will contact ticketholders using the contact details provided at the time of booking and refund or exchange tickets in accordance with the LPA Code.
8. Online shop
Purchases from the CAM online shop are subject to the shop terms of sale presented at checkout. Prices, postage and delivery times are as shown at the time of order. Returns and exchanges are handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Volunteer applications
Volunteer applications submitted through the website do not create an offer of, or agreement to, a volunteer position. CAM will assess applications and contact applicants to discuss next steps. Volunteer placements may be subject to a Working with Children Check, references and an induction process.
10. Links to other websites
The website may contain links to third-party websites. We provide these links for convenience and information only. We do not control, endorse or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices or terms of those websites. You access third-party websites at your own risk.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
We take reasonable care to ensure the information on the website is accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that the website will be free of errors, omissions, interruptions or viruses. Information about exhibitions, programs, opening hours and events may change without notice.
